Try this simple breathing technique

We’ve been working a lot on giving the kids helpful “tools” that they can use on and off the mat. One of the most simple breathing techniques is one that kids can use anywhere, anytime.

The idea is simply to make your exhalations longer than your inhalations. You can teach this at home by having your kids lie down, breath in (slowly) to a count of four and exhale (even slower) to a count of six. Repeat 3 times or more — it might help to have them place both hands on their belly. Or one hand to heart, one to belly. This technique is scientifically proven to bring calm and mental clarity in just a matter of minutes. 🙏

Hope to see you soon,
