Adult Yoga: Ellen Baker, Owner - Root to Rise Yoga, RYT 200
I am so happy to welcome Ellen Baker, owner of Root to Rise Yoga, to our Summer Tuesday series! When I first met Ellen, I was immediately impressed. We see each other often on the weekends at East Side Wellness Center studio, and her clients are always leaving her class with big smiles. And not only that, but week after week I hear them complimenting her on class, the flow, and how good they feel. There is no better compliment to an instructor than happy clients leaving class, feeling GREAT. And that was the sense that I got from Ellen. I just knew she'd be a perfect addition to our Tuesday night series so that more folks in our area can check out her class!
Butterfly Kids Yoga: Nighttime Yoga
Join Butterfly Kids Yoga for a special nighttime yoga class in our Summer Tuesday series! Butterfly Kids Yoga's nighttime yoga is the perfect opportunity for kids to calm down and relax after a busy day. Geared for ages 5 - 12, we'll get the last of our pent-up energy out, and then we will round out class with relaxing nighttime yoga activities. PJs and a special snuggle buddy are always welcome!

PS. If you don't already know and love Ellen Baker, here is a bit more about her, in her own words:
Ellen Baker started focusing on yoga as a way to heal her body and "do no harm" to it. The concept of "Ahimsa" (nonviolence) drives Ellen's yoga classes as she focuses on the body's proper alignment and its ability to heal, change, and communicate. Ellen always adapts poses that are appropriate for each person's ability and body type.
As Ellen says, "I was trained as a dancer from a young age, but after a back injury severely limited my ability to dance and to even go through daily routines, I found yoga as an amazing way to heal and do no harm. I bring this experience into every class I teach."
Ellen currently teaches in the Fairport area. To learn more about Ellen, please visit her website - www.facebook.com/roottoriseyogawithellen
